Poirot Actor Hugh Fraser supports Lapwing

Poirot actor Hugh Fraser offered his support as we fundraised in Sainsbury’s Upper Brook Street on Friday 2 May, attracting attention from the local paper the Ipswich Star and shoppers! Our volunteer Hannah Berresford (pictured below right) set this up for us and was aided by superstar volunteers from Ryan Insurance. The day was a huge success with £211 being raised and we are very grateful to Poirot Actor Hugh Fraser for giving his support.

Lapwing Suffolk educates young people who cannot access mainstream education due to Autistic Spectrum Disorders, physical challenges, learning difficulties, mental health problems or other long-term health issues. The cost of providing a bespoke course to one young person is £25,000 and we currently have 60 students on roll. We rely on local government funding and charitable donations to run our life-changing programmes, so we are hugely grateful for all donations.
